Solar Lighting

5. How do solar lights work?

SolarWoodle lighting systems collect energy from sunlight through high efficiency solar panels during the day. This energy is stored in rechargeable batteries and automatically power the LED lighting after sunset. Intelligent energy management ensures the stored power is used efficiently throughout the night. Because every SolarWoodle system is completely autonomous, there is no need for underfround cables, electrical infrastructure or connection to the power grid.

6. Do they work in winter?

Yes. SolarWoodle products are specifically designed for reliable year round performance, including winter conditions in Northern Europe. Even with fewer daylight hours, our systems efficiently collect and store solar energy to provide dependable nigh time lighting. Depending on the model, many SolarWoodle products deliver approximately 10 to 17+ hours of illumination during winter while automatically managing energy consumption for optimal performance.

7. Do they work in cloudy days?

Yes. Solar panels generate electricity from daylight, not only direct sunlight, Although charging efficiency is lower during cloudy weather, but SolarWoodle systems are designed to continue collecting energy and storing it in high quality batteries. Intelligent battery management helps maintain reliable lighting even during periods of reduced sunshine.

8. Are they completely off-grid?

Yes, all SolarWoodle lighting solutions operate independently of the electricity grid. They require no underground cables, electricity meters or utility connections. This not only reduces installations costs but also makes SolarWoodle ideal for remote locations, parks, nature reserves, parking lots and other outdoor environments where traditional electrical infrastructure is impractical or undesirable.

9. How bright are they?

SolarWoodle offers different lighting levels depending on the intended application. Whether you need subtle illumination for pathways, decorative lighting for public spaces or brighter lighting for parking areas and commercial environments, there is a suitable solution available. Each product is carefully designed to balance light output, energy efficiency and visual comfort while minimizing unnecessary light pollution.

10. How long do they stay on?

Operating time depends on the specific product model and environmental conditions. Under normal operating conditions, many SolarWoodle lighting systems provide approximately 10 to 17+ hours of illumination after a full charge, even during winter. Intelligent energy management ensures reliable performance while maximizing battery life throughout the year.

Installation

11. Is installation difficult?

No. SolarWoodle systems are designed for quick and straightforward installation. Because no underground cabling or electrical infrastructure is required, installation is often significantly faster and less disruptive than conventional outdoor lighting. This reduces labour costs, minimizes excavation work and allows projects to be completed more efficiently.

12. Do I need electricity?

No. SolarWoodle products operate entirely on solar energy and require no connection to the electricity grid. The integrated solar panel charges the internal battery during the day, allowing the lighting to operate automatically at night. This eliminates electricity costs, grid connection fees and the need for complex electrical installations.

13. Where can they be installed?

SolarWoodle lighting solutions are suitable for a wide range of outdoor environments. Common applications include municipalities, parks, pathways, nature reserves, parking lots, business parks, recreational areas, campsites, residential developements hospitality venues and commercial projects. Because the systems are autonomous and cable-free, they are particularly well suited for locations where conventional electrical installations are expensive or difficult.
