Sustainable solar lighting for SV Kampong and surrounding area
At sports complex SV Kampong in Utrecht, SolarWoodle realized a special project: a site with diverse functions, users and lighting needs.
On and around this site are Kampong Hockey, Cricket and Soccer, among others, as well as restaurant Stadsjochies, vegetable garden association Koningshof and De Moestuin Utrecht.
Our goal: to provide sustainable, safe and atmospheric lighting, without light pollution or cables in the ground.
One terrain, six applications - one light vision
What makes this project unique is the combination of sports fields, hospitality, vegetable gardens and meeting places. Each part of the site requires a different lighting solution:
Thanks to our off-grid solar lighting, we were able to custom respond to all of these needs - without building infrastructure and without detracting from the environment.
Result: functional, hospitable and ecological
With this project, the grounds around SV Kampong are not only functionally lit, but also visually and ecologically balanced. Guests feel safe and welcome, athletes find their way without overexposure, and nature is left alone.
